Method of Application

Substrate Preparation

Substrate Preparation: other contaminants. Before starting to grout, remove debris in grout joints with a blower and lightly sponge the tile surface to remove dust and dirt. Do not clean tiles with acid cleaners. In case acid cleaners were used to clean the tiles, ensure to wash the area with plenty of water before commencing grouting.

Mixing

Pour resin part in a mixing pail, add pigment paste and stir it thougrouly. After stirring the resin (Part A), pour all the hardener (Part B) into the container and mix with an electric low speed drill (< 400 rpm.) for approx. 1 minutes Add (part C) Filler Powder and mix until the material is fully homogeneous and lump free.

APPLICATION

The mixed grout should then be applied using a rubber trowel, ensuring that the joints are filled uniformly across the whole width and along their full length. Always work in small areas to ensure full compaction of grout in joints. Alternatively, use the hand-operated gun to fill in the joints. After about 30 minutes or prior to the pot life time of the grout, clean the excess grout with a cellulose sponge and clean warm water without damaging the joint to provide neat finish surfaces.

Coverage

Consumption is dependent upon the texture and porosity of the surface as well as on the size of the tiles and the joints between them. As a general guide, the approximate consumption can be calculated by volume, where ~1.7 kg/m2/mm of material is required.Properly grind the substrate to remove the laitance and loose material, followed by vacuum cleaning. Lightly dampen the floor with water (water should not be accumulated on the surface) and then apply bonding agent Chemfast SBR with a brush or roller at a coverage of 5-6 sqm/litre of liquid cement slurry. Immediately pour the mixed mortar on the bonding agent till it is still tacky. Level and compact the mortar to the desired thickness with the help of a wooden float or steel trowel.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened and/or cured material can only be removed mechanically.
