Method of Application

All Chemsol Products are recommended to be applied only by Approved Applicators and should be used after using proper PPEs like Gloves, mask, goggles, etc.

Substrate Quality

The CDS (clean, dry, sound) test must be conducted. The substrate must be free of all contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, coatings, and surface treatments etc. If in doubt, apply a test area first.

Mixing

Mix Chemfast SBR with cement in a 1:1 ratio to make a free-flowing paste.

Application of Chemfast SBR

Properly grind the substrate to remove the laitance and loose material, followed by vacuum cleaning. Lightly dampen the floor with water (water should not be accumulated on the surface) and then apply bonding agent Chemfast SBR with a brush or roller at a coverage of 5-6 sqm/litre of liquid cement slurry. Immediately pour the mixed mortar on the bonding agent till it is still tacky. Level and compact the mortar to the desired thickness with the help of a wooden float or steel trowel.

Cleaning of Tools

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened and/or cured material can only be removed mechanically.

Packing

Chemfast SBR is available in 1 and 4 litre packs.

Handling & Safety

Keep the containers tightly sealed when not in use. Avoid skin contact and inhalation of fumes (if any). While spraying, it is advised to wear a mask. If it comes in contact with the body, wash affected parts with plenty of soap and water. In case of persistent irritation, contact a physician.
